Will my room be inspected after I leave?

Yes, your room will be inspected when you move out. This helps the Scape team check the condition of your room, confirm that everything has been removed and identify whether any cleaning, repairs or missing items need to be recorded.

You may also be invited to attend a pre-checkout inspection before your End Date. This is a helpful chance to walk through the room with the team, ask questions and understand anything that may need attention before you leave.

During the inspection, the team will compare your room against the original inventory from when you checked in. They’ll look at things like cleanliness, furniture, fixtures, fittings, appliances, walls, flooring and any items provided as part of your room.

If you do not attend scheduled pre-checkout appointments, the inspection may go ahead without you. Any issues found after you leave may be recorded and handled through the deposit process.

To make things easier, clean your room thoroughly, remove all belongings and speak to reception before your End Date if you’re unsure what standard is expected.
