Who can live at Scape? (eligibility criteria explained)

Scape is for students who are ready to make their next move and need a place that is designed around student life.

To live with Scape, you must meet both of these requirements:

  • You must be a student: you should hold an offer for a course that is due to start soon, or be enrolled at a recognised university or higher education institution for the duration of your stay.
  • You must be 18 or over: you need to be aged 18+ on the contract start date.

Scape welcomes undergraduate students, foundation students, postgraduate students, PhD students and international students. There are no nationality restrictions, and you do not need a guarantor to book.

You also do not need referencing checks, Right to Rent checks or a guarantor as part of the standard Scape booking process.

When you check in, you’ll need to show suitable ID and evidence of your student status, such as a student ID, UCAS number or other enrolment confirmation. If you’re unsure whether your course or circumstances qualify, contact the Scape bookings team before you book and we’ll help you check your options.
