What should I do in an emergency?

If there is an emergency, your safety comes first. Stay as calm as you can, move away from immediate danger and get help quickly.

For a life-threatening emergency, call 999 straight away for police, fire or ambulance support. This includes fire, serious injury, danger to life, a crime in progress or any situation where someone needs urgent help. Once it is safe to do so, let reception or the on-site Scape team know what has happened.

For building emergencies, such as flooding, a power failure, loss of water, a suspected gas or electrical issue or a fire alarm, contact reception immediately. Scape has support available 24/7, so someone will be able to help and take the right next steps.

Please do not try to deal with major emergencies on your own. Follow any instructions from emergency services, the Scape team and the safety signage in your building.

For non-emergency medical advice, call 111. For non-emergency police support, call 101. It is a good idea to save these numbers, along with your building reception contact details, in your phone when you move in.
