What should I do if I lose my key or access card?
If you lose your key fob or access card, please tell reception straight away. This helps the Scape team keep your room and the building secure.
The team will deactivate the lost fob or card as soon as possible, so it can no longer be used to access resident areas or your room. They can then arrange a replacement and help you get access again safely.
If you think your key or access card may have been stolen, or you are worried someone else could have it, let the team know clearly when you report it. If you feel at immediate risk, call 999 first.
You may need to pay a replacement charge for a lost key, fob or access card. Reception can confirm any cost and explain the next steps for your building.
While you wait for a replacement, do not borrow another resident’s fob or lend yours to anyone else. Each access card is personal to the resident it was issued to, and sharing access can put everyone’s safety at risk.
