What should I do if I have a plumbing issue?
If you have a plumbing issue, report it quickly so the Scape team can prevent further damage and get things working properly again.
If it is urgent
For a major active leak, flooding or water spreading across the floor, contact reception immediately. Do not log this through the Scape app first. Reception is available 24/7 and can arrange urgent support.
If it is safe, move your belongings away from the water and avoid using anything electrical nearby. Do not try to repair pipework, taps, toilets or drains yourself.
If it is not urgent
For smaller plumbing issues, such as a dripping tap, slow-draining sink, blocked shower drain or toilet that is not flushing properly, log a maintenance request through the Scape app.
- Describe the issue: explain what is happening and when it started.
- Add the location: include your room number and whether it is in your bathroom, kitchenette or shared kitchen.
- Upload photos: add pictures if there is visible leaking, damage or blockage.
- Share your availability: let the team know when maintenance can access your room if needed.
If a minor issue becomes worse, contact reception straight away so it can be prioritised.
