What is the move-out process?

Moving out is simple when you follow the right steps before your contract End Date. Start by checking your booking information and any move-out guidance from your building team, so you know your exact deadline and what’s expected.

Before you leave, please make sure you:

  • Clean your room thoroughly, including your bathroom and kitchen area if you have one.
  • Remove all personal belongings, food, rubbish and unwanted items.
  • Book and attend your pre-checkout inspection, if available.
  • Return all keys, fobs and post box keys to reception.
  • Give the Residence Management team your forwarding address.

Your room should be left in the same condition as when you arrived, allowing for fair wear and tear. The team will use your check-in inventory to help assess the room’s condition.

Please make sure everything is removed and returned by your required check-out deadline. If you leave items behind, return keys late or your room needs extra cleaning or repairs, charges may be deducted from your deposit. If you’re unsure about anything, speak to reception before you move out. The team will happily point you in the right direction.
