What happens to my payments if I cancel my booking?
What happens to your payments depends on when you cancel and which policy applies to your booking.
If you cancel within the applicable cooling-off period, you may be eligible for a full refund in line with Scape’s Refund Policy. After the cooling-off period, refunds are assessed under the Refund Policy and your circumstances, so you should not assume that all payments will be returned.
What to check
- Your cooling-off period: check whether you are still within the time allowed to cancel for a full refund.
- Your Residence Agreement: review the terms linked to cancellations and payments.
- Your Scape account: check payment history, upcoming payments and booking documents.
- Your reason for cancelling: some situations, such as a change in study circumstances, may need supporting evidence.
