What happens if policies change during my stay?

If policies change during your stay, the policies in force when you booked will usually continue to apply to your booking. The main exception is where a change is required by law, or where Scape reasonably considers the update does not materially disadvantage you.

If a policy change has a meaningful effect on your booking or stay, Scape will take reasonable steps to communicate this to you. This may be through email, your Scape account, the Scape App or notices from your building team.

What you should do

  • Keep an eye on Scape messages: important updates may be sent by email or through Scape channels.
  • Check your documents: your Residence Agreement and booking documents are available in your Scape account.
  • Ask if you are unsure: policy questions are always better checked than guessed.
  • Follow building guidance: local rules for safety, facilities and conduct may be shared by your residence team.
