What happens if my visa is rejected or delayed?

If your visa is rejected or delayed, contact the Scape bookings team as soon as you become aware of the issue. The earlier you tell us, the sooner we can explain your options and what evidence may be needed.

If the visa issue means your study plans are changing, such as not being able to start your course as planned, Scape’s Change of Study Circumstances cancellation policy may apply. Each case will depend on your circumstances and the supporting documents you can provide.

What to do next

  • Email the bookings team: contact bookings.uk@scape.com.
  • Explain the situation: tell us whether your visa has been rejected, delayed or is still awaiting a decision.
  • Share evidence: include official correspondence about your visa or any changes to your university place.
  • Keep us updated: let the team know if your visa position or study plans change again.

Please do not wait until your move-in date. Getting in touch early gives the team the best chance to support you and guide you through the right next steps.
