What happens if my documents are rejected?

If your documents cannot be verified at check-in, Scape may not be able to issue your keys until the issue is resolved.

This can happen if the document is unclear, does not match your booking details or does not confirm the information Scape needs, such as your identity or student status.

What to do

  • Speak to the team at check-in: they’ll explain what the issue is and what’s needed next
  • Provide another document: if you have an alternative form of photo ID or proof of study, share it with the team
  • Contact the bookings team: if you know about a problem before arrival, email bookings.uk@scape.com as soon as possible

It’s best to check your documents before you travel. Make sure your photo ID is valid and your student evidence clearly shows your name and study status.

If there is a known issue, don’t wait until check-in day. Contact Scape in advance so the team can advise you and help avoid delays when you arrive.
