What happens if I don’t return my keys or access devices?

If you don’t return your keys or access devices by your required check-out deadline, an administrative or replacement charge may be applied. This can be deducted from your deposit, so please make sure everything issued to you is handed back before you leave.

This includes any room keys, key cards, fobs, post box keys or other access devices provided during your stay. Please return them directly to reception rather than leaving them in your room, posting them under a door or giving them to another resident.

If an access device is missing, damaged or returned late, Scape may need to replace it or update building access for security reasons. The charge will be calculated at Scape’s discretion and handled through the deposit process where applicable.

If you think you have lost a key or fob, let the team know as soon as possible. They can explain what happens next and help make sure your move-out is recorded correctly.
