What do I need to complete before I arrive?
Before you arrive at Scape, there are a few important things to complete so your check-in can run smoothly.
Your pre-arrival checklist
- Pay your damage deposit: make sure your deposit has been paid before check-in.
- Clear your first rent instalment: your first instalment needs to be paid and cleared in line with your payment schedule.
- Prepare your documents: bring your passport or government-issued ID, plus proof of student status such as your student ID, UCAS number or enrolment confirmation.
- Arrange bedding and kitchen items: bring your own essentials or order them in advance through Unpacked.
- Set up contents insurance: arrange cover for your personal belongings before you move in.
- Confirm your arrival time: respond to Scape’s arrival scheduling email or contact your building reception team.
- Download the Scape App: use it for updates, maintenance requests, parcels and messaging the team.
- Re-read your key documents: check your Residence Agreement and Code of Conduct so you know what to expect.
Keep checking your email and Scape account before move-in, as this is where important arrival details will be shared. If anything is missing or unclear, contact your building team before you travel.
