What are my responsibilities under the contract?

As a Scape resident, you have responsibilities under your Residence Agreement and the Scape Code of Conduct. These help keep the building safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

Your main responsibilities

• Pay rent on time: follow the payment schedule shown in your Scape account and Residence Agreement.
• Look after your room: keep it clean, tidy and in good condition throughout your stay.
• Report damage or maintenance issues: use the Scape App or speak to the team if something needs fixing.
• Follow the Code of Conduct: behave respectfully towards other residents, guests, the Scape team and the building.
• Do not sublet or share possession: your room is for you, and you must not rent it out or let someone else live there in your place.
• Manage guests responsibly: guests must be signed in and out, and you are responsible for their behaviour while they are at Scape.
• Follow fire safety rules: never tamper with fire equipment, prop open fire doors or bring prohibited items into the building.
