Is there CCTV in the building?
Yes. Scape uses CCTV as part of its wider approach to keeping the building safe and secure.
CCTV cameras are in place in key areas such as building entrances, external areas and communal spaces. These cameras help the team monitor access, support resident safety and review what happened if a security concern or incident is reported.
CCTV is not there to make Scape feel formal or unwelcoming. It is one of the ways the team helps create a safe home for everyone, alongside 24/7 staffed reception, controlled access and visitor sign-in.
If you have a concern about something that has happened in the building, please speak to reception as soon as possible. The team can take the right next steps and, where appropriate, review CCTV footage as part of an incident investigation.
For everyone’s privacy and safety, CCTV footage is managed securely and only accessed for appropriate security, safety or operational reasons. If the matter is urgent or someone is in immediate danger, call 999 first, then let the Scape team know as soon as it is safe to do so.
