How do I report issues with my room on arrival?
If you notice an issue with your room when you arrive, please report it to reception straight away. This includes anything that is damaged, missing, not working properly or not as clean as expected.
You should also record the issue as part of your inventory check. If you spot anything after your initial check-in, report it in writing to Residence Management within 48 hours of check-in. This helps make sure the issue is logged clearly and does not get confused with anything that happens later in your stay.
When reporting an issue, include:
- your full name and room number
- a clear description of the issue
- where in the room the issue is
- photos, if helpful
- whether it is urgent, for example a leak, loss of power or access problem
If the issue is urgent, speak to the team in person or contact reception immediately so they can help as quickly as possible.
For anything discovered later in your stay, you can usually report maintenance through the Scape app, or ask reception for support.
