How do I pay rent from overseas?

You can pay your Scape rent from overseas through the Scape portal. Scape uses TransferMate to make international payments easier, so you can pay in your local currency and the payment is converted into GBP.

How to pay from overseas

  • Log in to your Scape portal: check your rent amount, payment deadline and available payment options.
  • Choose TransferMate: follow the steps in the portal to start your international payment.
  • Pay in your local currency: TransferMate will handle the currency conversion into GBP.
  • Allow enough time: international payments can take time to process, so it’s best to set this up before your payment due date.

Before confirming your payment, check that your details, amount and currency are correct. Keep any confirmation or receipt in case you need to refer back to it.

If you are already in the UK, you may also find it useful to set up a UK bank account for future payments and everyday spending.
