How do I access the building and my room?
You will use the personal key fob or access card issued to you at check-in to enter the building and access your room.
Your fob is programmed specifically for you, your room and the resident areas you are allowed to use. Keep it with you whenever you leave your room, even if you are only popping out for a moment.
To open a door, hold your fob or card near the reader until access is confirmed. Some entrances may lock automatically at certain times, so you may need to use your fob or the Scape app to get back in. If you forget your fob, go to reception. The team can confirm your identity and help you get back into the building safely.
To help keep everyone safe:
- Do not lend your fob or access card to anyone else.
- Do not let people follow you into secure areas.
- Make sure doors close properly behind you.
- Tell reception straight away if your fob is lost, stolen or not working.
If you have any problems with access, speak to reception or message the team through the Scape app.
