Do I need to complete a room or inventory check on arrival?
Yes. You’ll need to complete and sign a room inventory check as part of your check-in.
The inventory records the furniture, fittings and condition of your room when you move in. It helps make sure there is a clear record of anything that was already there before your stay began.
Please check your room carefully when you arrive, including:
- walls, floors, doors and windows
- furniture and storage
- bathroom fittings
- kitchen appliances and equipment, if included in your room
- cleanliness, marks, damage or missing items
If you notice anything that is not listed correctly, tell Residence Management in writing within 48 hours of check-in. It’s also a good idea to take clear photos as supporting evidence.
If nothing is reported within 48 hours, the inventory will be treated as agreed. This means it may be used as the baseline when your room is checked at the end of your stay, including for any possible deposit deductions.
If you’re unsure how to complete the inventory, ask the reception team. They’ll be happy to guide you through it.
