Can I reserve or hold a room before booking?
Yes, you can reserve or hold a room for a short time before completing your booking.
Once you select a room and create your account, Scape can hold that room for 72 hours. This gives you a little breathing space to review the details, check your dates, speak to family or confirm your plans before making the initial payment.
How the hold works
- Hold period: your selected room is held for 72 hours.
- When it starts: the hold begins once the room is selected and your account is created.
- What happens next: you need to complete the booking and make the required payment before the hold expires.
- If the hold expires: the room is released and may become available for someone else to book.
If you genuinely need more time, contact the Scape sales team before the hold ends. We cannot always extend a hold, especially when demand is high, but the team can explain your options and help you avoid losing a room you really want.
