Can I pay in instalments or in full upfront?

Yes, you can choose to pay your rent in instalments or pay the full amount upfront.

If you pay in instalments, your rent is split across the year according to the payment schedule shown in your Residence Agreement and Scape account. For many academic year bookings, this is usually three instalments, with payments due before arrival and later in the year.

If you prefer, you can pay the full residence fee upfront instead. This can be helpful if you want to get your accommodation payments sorted in one go and avoid future instalment reminders.

Before you choose

  • Check your payment schedule: your exact amounts and due dates are shown in your Scape account.
  • Plan for your damage deposit: this is separate from your rent and must be paid before check-in.
  • Allow time for payments to clear: bank transfers can take longer than card payments.
  • Use your Scape account: this is where you can view what is due and make payments.

Once your payment plan is confirmed, make sure you follow the due dates shown. If you are unsure which option applies to your booking, contact the Scape team before making a payment.
