Can I have guests stay over?

Yes, you can have guests stay over occasionally at Scape. We know friends, family and visitors are an important part of student life, but overnight stays need to be managed safely and considerately.

Guest stay rules

  • Guests must sign in: all guests need to sign in at reception when they arrive.
  • ID is required: your guest must show valid ID and complete the guest sign-in process.
  • You are responsible for your guest: this includes their behaviour, noise, safety and any damage they cause.
  • Stays must be occasional: regular or long-term overnight stays are not permitted, as your room is for you as the resident only.

Please make sure your guest follows Scape’s house rules, respects other residents and leaves shared spaces tidy. If you live in a shared flat, it is also a good idea to let your flatmates know before inviting someone to stay.

If you are unsure whether a planned visit is allowed, speak to reception before your guest arrives. The team can explain the guest process for your building.
