Can I book accommodation on behalf of a student?
Yes. A parent, guardian or trusted person can help book accommodation for a student.
The booking must still be made in the student’s name, as they will be the person living at Scape and the accommodation agreement will be with them. You can support them with choosing a building or room type, completing details and making payments, but the student must be the named resident.
What you can help with
- Choosing the right Scape building, room type and contract dates.
- Making payments through the student’s Scape portal, with their permission.
- Helping with paperwork and arrival planning.
- Supporting the student on move-in day.
The student may need to provide their own details, student documents or ID, and may need to sign or accept documents themselves. Scape can only share account or booking information with someone else where the student has given permission.
To start or review a booking, use the student’s Scape portal or browse available rooms at scape.com. If you need help, contact the Scape team and they’ll guide you through the next steps.
