Can I attend move-in day with the student?

Yes. Parents, guardians and trusted people are welcome to attend move-in day with the student.

The check-in process must be completed with the student, as they are the named resident. They will need to be present for key collection, identity checks and any final arrival steps. You can still accompany them to Reception and help with the practical side of getting settled.

Before you arrive

  • Check the student’s confirmed arrival time and any move-in instructions.
  • Make sure the student has their ID and required student documents.
  • Plan your route and allow time for unloading.
  • Bring bedding, kitchen items and any essentials the student has not pre-ordered.

Most Scape buildings do not have on-site parking, so please plan loading and unloading carefully. Some buildings may have temporary drop-off arrangements, but spaces are limited and may need to be organised in advance. Contact the building team before move-in if you need advice.

Once the student has checked in, you’re welcome to help them unpack, get familiar with their room and settle into their new Scape home.
