Are there any fees or conditions for moving rooms?

There is no standard fee for requesting a room move, but this does not mean every move is free or guaranteed. Room moves depend on availability, approval from Scape and the details of your current booking.

If a suitable room is available, the bookings team will explain any costs or conditions before anything is confirmed.

Costs that may apply

• Price difference: if the new room costs more or less than your current room, the rent difference will be calculated.
• Admin charges: these may apply in some cases, depending on the type of move or transfer.
• Contract changes: you may need to sign a new Residence Agreement for the new room.

Please do not assume a move has been agreed until you have written confirmation from Scape. You should not swap rooms with another resident or move your belongings into another room without approval.
