Are there additional requirements for international students?

No, there are no additional eligibility requirements for international students.

You’ll need to meet the same standard requirements as any other Scape resident: you must be a student, or have a course starting soon, and you must be aged 18 or over on your contract start date.

You also do not need a UK guarantor to book with Scape. There is no guarantor requirement for international students, so you can book without arranging someone in the UK to support your application.

What international students should know

  • Student status is required: you’ll need to show evidence of your course or enrolment at check-in.
  • ID is required: bring your passport or another government-issued ID.
  • No UK guarantor is needed: this is not part of Scape’s standard booking process.
  • Visa proof is not required to book: you can book while your visa is still being arranged.
