Are shared spaces cleaned regularly?

Yes, shared spaces at Scape are cleaned regularly by the building team. This helps keep communal areas comfortable, welcoming and ready for everyone to use.

Shared areas such as corridors, staircases, lounges, study spaces and other communal facilities are cleaned daily by Scape staff. Shared kitchens are also inspected weekly to help make sure they stay safe, hygienic and in good condition.

How residents can help

  • Clean up after yourself: wipe surfaces, wash dishes and put things away after cooking or eating.
  • Use bins properly: dispose of rubbish and recycling in the correct areas.
  • Respect shared spaces: leave lounges, kitchens and study areas ready for the next person.
  • Report issues: tell reception if something is dirty, damaged or needs attention.

Cleaning shared spaces is a team effort. Scape takes care of regular communal cleaning, but residents are still responsible for their own mess and for treating shared areas with respect.

If a shared space is in poor condition, contact reception so the team can look into it.
