What should we prepare before arrival?
A little preparation makes move-in day much smoother. Before arrival, check the student’s booking details, arrival instructions and any messages in their Scape portal or email.
What the student needs ready
- Photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence.
- Any required student documents or proof of study.
- Confirmation that the deposit and first instalment have been paid, where applicable.
- Their confirmed check-in date and arrival time window.
What to pack
- Bedding, including sheets, duvet cover, pillow and pillowcase.
- Towels and toiletries.
- Kitchen essentials such as plates, bowls, cutlery, pans and utensils.
- Chargers, adapters and everyday study items.
- Cleaning supplies and laundry items.
The student must be present for key collection, ID checks and any final arrival steps. Parents, guardians or trusted people can come along to help, but the check-in is completed with the student.
Most Scape buildings do not have on-site parking, so plan your route, unloading arrangements and luggage support in advance. If you’re unsure about access on the day, contact the building team before you travel.
