What is the check-in process?

When you arrive at Scape, please go straight to reception. Our team will take you through check-in, make sure everything is ready and help you get settled into your new home.

The process usually takes around 5 to 10 minutes, as long as your documents and payments are complete. During check-in, you’ll be asked to:

• show your ID and student documents
• confirm your deposit and first instalment have been paid and cleared
• collect your key fob and post box key
• complete your gym waiver, if you plan to use the gym
• complete any arrival forms
• receive a quick building orientation, including key information about access, safety and shared spaces
• complete and sign your room inventory

Your inventory is important because it records the condition of your room when you move in. Please check it carefully and let the team know if anything does not look right.

To make check-in as smooth as possible, have your ID, student documents and booking details ready when you arrive. If you’re unsure about anything, just ask the reception team. They’ll be happy to help.
