What is included in the rent price?

Your rent includes the main things you need for comfortable student living, so you do not have to set up separate utility accounts or manage lots of different bills.

Included in your rent

• Utilities: heating, water and electricity are included for normal residential use.
• Wi-Fi: broadband internet is included, so you can get online for studying, streaming and staying connected.
• 24/7 reception or on-site support: the Scape team is around to help whenever you need us.
• Shared spaces: you can use the communal spaces, study areas and shared kitchens available at your building.
• Building amenities: this may include bike storage and gym access where available.
• Maintenance: if something in your room or building needs fixing, you can report it through the Scape App.

Laundry is not included in your rent and is usually paid for separately through the laundry provider. Personal items such as bedding, towels, kitchen equipment, contents insurance and a TV licence, if you need one, are also not included.
