What is included in my contract?

Your Scape contract includes the key details, terms and responsibilities for your stay. It is called the Residence Agreement, and you should read it carefully before signing.

The agreement confirms the practical details of your booking and explains what both you and Scape are responsible for during your time with us.

What your contract includes

• Your room details: the building, room type and any allocation details confirmed for your booking.
• Contract dates: your agreed start and end dates.
• Rent and payments: your weekly fee, total residence fee and payment schedule.
• Your responsibilities: including paying rent on time, looking after your room, reporting damage and following Scape’s Code of Conduct.
• Scape’s responsibilities: including relevant landlord obligations and building maintenance responsibilities.
• Deposit terms: how your deposit is held, what it may cover and how it may be returned.
• Cancellation rights: including cooling-off terms and other cancellation policies that may apply.
• Early termination options: what happens if you want or need to leave before your contract ends.
