What happens if I arrive early, late or miss my slot?

If you arrive early, late or miss your move-in slot, don’t panic. The Scape team will do their best to help you get checked in as smoothly as possible.

If you arrive early

If you arrive before your room is ready, usually before 2pm on your contract start date, reception may be able to store your luggage for you. Your room may not be available until the standard check-in time, so keep essentials like ID, student documents, medication and valuables with you.

If you arrive late

Scape reception is available 24/7, so late arrivals are usually possible. If you expect to arrive after 8pm, let your building reception team know in advance so they can plan for your check-in and make sure everything is ready.

If you miss your slot

If travel delays or other plans mean you miss your arrival slot, contact reception as soon as you can. The team will accommodate your arrival as soon as possible.

Before travelling, check your pre-arrival emails and make sure your payments, documents and arrival details are sorted. That way, even if your timing changes, check-in should still be straightforward.
