What do I need to do before I leave?

Before you leave Scape, there are a few important things to tick off so your move-out goes smoothly and your room can be checked properly.

Please make sure you:

• Clean your room thoroughly, including your bathroom, kitchen area and floors.
• Remove all personal belongings, food, rubbish and unwanted items.
• Return all keys and access devices, including fobs and post box keys, to reception.
• Book and attend your pre-checkout inspection, if this is available at your building.
• Give Residence Management your forwarding address, so they know where to contact you after you leave.
• Counter-sign the completed inventory at inspection, where required.

Your room should be returned in the same condition as when you moved in, allowing for fair wear and tear. The check-in inventory helps the team compare the room’s condition and identify anything that may need cleaning, repair or replacement.
