What deadlines do I need to complete before arrival?

Before you arrive, make sure the key move-in steps are complete. This helps the Scape team check you in quickly and means you can get settled without any last-minute admin.

Complete these before arrival

• Pay your damage deposit: your £400 damage deposit must be paid before check-in.
• Pay your first rent instalment: this needs to be paid and cleared in line with your payment schedule.
• Get your documents ready: bring your passport or government-issued ID, plus proof of student status such as a student ID, UCAS number or enrolment confirmation.
• Arrange bedding and kitchen items: bring your own or order essentials in advance through Unpacked.
• Set up contents insurance: Scape recommends arranging cover for your personal belongings before you move in.
• Confirm your check-in time: follow the instructions sent by Scape before arrival.
• Download the Scape App: use it for updates, maintenance requests, parcels and messaging the team.

Keep an eye on your email and Scape account before move-in, as this is where important arrival information will be shared. If anything is missing or you are unsure what to do next, contact your building team before you travel.
