What contract lengths are available?

Contract lengths at Scape vary by building, room type and availability, so the best place to check your options is the Find a Room page on scape.com.

For the main academic year, the standard Scape contract is usually 51 weeks, running from September to September. This is a popular option if you want your room secured across the full academic year and summer period.

Contract options may include

  • Academic year contracts: usually 51 weeks, starting in September and ending the following September.
  • Shorter academic contracts: some buildings may offer shorter stays, depending on availability.
  • Semester stays: available at selected times and locations, often starting in September or January.
  • Summer stays: sometimes available for students who need accommodation outside the main academic year.
  • Flexible stays: may be offered at selected buildings where availability allows.
