How long is a room held during booking?

Scape will hold your selected room for 72 hours once you have chosen the room and created your Scape account.

This gives you a little breathing space to come back, check the details and complete your booking. During this time, you should review your Residence Agreement, make sure the room and contract dates are right for you and complete the required initial payment.

When the hold ends

If you do not complete your booking within 72 hours, the room hold will expire and the room will be released back to general availability. This means another student may be able to book it.

Your room is only fully secured when Scape has received the initial payment in cleared funds and sent you a booking confirmation email. Signing the Residence Agreement alone does not secure the room.

Offers, prices and discount codes can change, so completing your booking within the hold period is the best way to keep the room and price you selected.
