How long does check-in take?

Check-in usually takes around 5 to 10 minutes per resident, as long as your documents are ready and your payments have been received.

During check-in, the reception team will confirm your details, check your ID and student documents, make sure your deposit and first instalment are paid and cleared, issue your key fob and post box key, and guide you through any arrival forms. You’ll also receive a quick building orientation and complete your room inventory.

At busier times, especially when lots of students are moving in, there may be a short wait. Don’t worry, the team will be working through arrivals as quickly as they can while making sure everyone gets the information they need.

To help keep things moving, please arrive at your confirmed time slot and have your ID, student documents and booking information ready to show. If you’re running late or your plans change, contact the Scape team so they know when to expect you.

Once check-in is complete, you’ll be able to head to your room and start settling in.
