How is access to the building controlled?
Access to Scape buildings is controlled so residents can feel safe, settled and confident in their home.
When you check in, you will be given a personal key fob or access card. This is programmed for your building, room and the resident areas you are allowed to use. You will need it to enter the building, access keycard-controlled areas and get into your room.
The main entrance is kept secure and may lock automatically at certain times. If this happens, use your fob, access card or the Scape app where available. If you forget your fob, speak to reception and the team will help confirm your identity and get you back in safely.
For everyone’s safety, please:
- Keep your fob or access card with you whenever you leave your room.
- Never share it with anyone else.
- Do not let people follow you into secure areas.
- Make sure doors close properly behind you.
- Report a lost, stolen or faulty fob to reception straight away.
Visitors must sign in at reception and may be asked to show ID. This helps the team know who is in the building and keeps Scape safe for everyone.
