How do room moves or transfers work?
If you would like to move rooms or transfer, contact bookings.uk@scape.com first. The bookings team will check whether a suitable room is available and explain your options.
Room moves and transfers are not guaranteed. They depend on availability, your current contract, the room you want to move to and any conditions that apply to your booking.
If a move is possible
- The team will confirm the available room and any change in price.
- A new Residence Agreement will usually be created for the new room.
- Your original contract will be ended as part of the move process.
- Any difference in rent or charges will be calculated and shared with you before the move is confirmed.
Please do not move your belongings or swap rooms with another resident unless Scape has confirmed this in writing. This helps keep your booking, key access, safety information and payments accurate.
If your request is linked to maintenance, noise, wellbeing or another concern, let the team know when you contact them. They may be able to help resolve the issue without a room move, or advise on the best next step.
