How do international payments work?
International payments are made through Flywire, which you can access from your Scape account. Flywire helps students pay securely from different countries and makes the currency exchange process clearer and easier to manage.
When you make a payment, you’ll usually be able to pay in your local currency. Flywire then converts the payment into GBP so it can be applied to your Scape booking or rent account.
How it works
- Log in to your Scape account: choose the payment you need to make.
- Select your country or currency: Flywire will show the options available to you.
- Choose a payment method: this may include card, instant bank transfer or manual bank transfer.
- Follow the instructions: use the details shown so your payment is matched to your booking.
Card payments and instant bank transfers usually clear quickly. Manual bank transfers can take longer, so allow extra time before your deadline.
If you need help tracking or completing an international payment, contact Flywire first. You can also contact the Scape team if you are unsure what is due or whether your payment has been applied.
