How do I request a refund?

To request a refund, contact your building team and explain your situation. They will review your request against Scape’s Refund Policy and let you know what happens next.

Refunds depend on your circumstances, timing and the terms that apply to your booking. For example, if you are within the cooling-off period, different rules may apply than if you request a refund later. If your request relates to a change in study circumstances, you may need to provide supporting evidence.

What to include

  • Your full name: use the name on your booking.
  • Your booking details: include your booking reference, building and room type if you have them.
  • Reason for the refund request: explain clearly what has changed or why you are requesting a refund.
  • Supporting evidence: attach any relevant documents, such as university correspondence, if needed.
