How do I report a safety or security incident?

If you experience or witness a safety or security incident, please report it to reception as soon as it is safe to do so. Scape has team members available 24/7, so there will always be someone you can speak to.

If there is immediate danger, a crime in progress or someone is at risk of harm, call 999 first. Once you are safe, let the Scape team know what has happened.

You should report incidents such as:

  • Suspicious behaviour in or around the building.
  • Unauthorised access or someone following residents into secure areas.
  • Theft, damage or threats.
  • Harassment, intimidation or behaviour that makes you feel unsafe.
  • Fire safety concerns or tampering with safety equipment.

When you report an incident, reception will log the details and advise you on the next steps. This may include speaking with building management, reviewing CCTV where appropriate or supporting you with police reporting.

If you are unsure whether something should be reported, please tell the team anyway. It is always better to share a concern early.
