How do I raise concerns about flatmates?
If you have concerns about a flatmate, please speak to reception. The Scape team is there to help you feel safe, comfortable and supported in your home.
For minor issues, such as cleaning, noise or shared kitchen habits, you may feel comfortable having a calm conversation with your flatmate first. Keep it friendly, clear and respectful. Sometimes people simply do not realise something is affecting others.
When to contact Scape
- If the issue continues: report it to reception so the team can follow up.
- If you feel uncomfortable or unsafe: do not try to handle it alone.
- If there is serious behaviour: report anything that may breach the Scape Code of Conduct.
- If it is urgent: contact reception immediately. Reception is staffed 24/7.
Please do not retaliate or escalate a dispute yourself. Residence Management will handle concerns appropriately and take action where needed.
When reporting a concern, share clear details, including what happened, when it happened and who was involved. This helps the team understand the situation and support you properly.
