# How do I compare rooms within the same building?

The easiest way to compare rooms within the same Scape building is to use the [Find a Room](https://www.scape.com/rooms/) tool on scape.com. It shows the room options available at your chosen building, so you can compare them side by side before booking.

Room types can vary by size, layout, floor level, view and price. Even within the same building, two rooms may feel slightly different depending on where they are located.

### What to compare

- **Room type:** check whether you want a studio, en-suite, apartment or another available option.
- **Floor level:** higher floors may cost more, so compare this against your budget.
- **View:** some rooms may carry a premium because of their outlook.
- **Weekly price:** review the rent and total contract cost before booking.
- **Contract length:** make sure the dates work for your course and travel plans.
- **Virtual tours:** use available tours to get a clearer feel for the space and layout.
