Do I need to be a full-time student to book?
No, you do not need to be a full-time student to book a room at Scape.
To live with Scape, you need to be enrolled in a programme of further educational study at an approved institution, or have entitlement to public funding. This means you may still be eligible if your course is not full time, as long as you meet the student status requirements for your stay.
You’ll also need to be aged 18 or over on your contract start date.
What counts as student status?
- Enrolment on an eligible course: this could include university or higher education study.
- Proof at check-in: you’ll need to show evidence of your student status when you arrive.
- Approved institution: your course should be with a recognised education provider.
If you are studying part time, on a foundation course, postgraduate course, PhD or another eligible programme, contact the Scape team if you are unsure whether your course qualifies. We’ll help you check before you book, so you can move forward with confidence.
