Can Scape support specific accessibility or medical needs?

Scape can discuss specific accessibility needs and practical accommodation adjustments, but we cannot provide medical care, clinical support or personal care services.

If you have accessibility requirements, a disability, a long-term health condition or another support need, please contact the bookings team before you book. The team can talk through what you need, check suitable room or building options and explain what can be confirmed as part of your booking.

What Scape may be able to discuss

  • Accessible rooms: available at selected buildings, subject to availability.
  • Building access: such as step-free routes or lift access.
  • Room layout: including bathroom setup, space requirements or practical adjustments.
  • Individual requirements: the team will review each request based on your circumstances.

For medical support, ongoing care or complex health needs, you should also speak to your university’s disability, wellbeing or student support team. They can help with academic adjustments, health-related support and guidance beyond your accommodation.

To discuss accommodation requirements, email bookings.uk@scape.com with as much detail as you can.
