Can I change my room or room type after booking?
Yes, you can ask to change your room or room type after booking, but it depends on availability and is not guaranteed.
If you’d like to move to a different room, upgrade your room type or change your allocation, contact the Scape team as soon as possible. The earlier you ask, the more chance there is of finding an option that works for you.
How to request a room change
- Email the bookings team: contact bookings.uk@scape.com
- Include your details: share your full name, booking reference and the email address used to book
- Explain what you want to change: include your preferred building, room type, floor or any accessibility needs
- Check the cost: a different room type may change your residence fee or payment schedule
If you are still within any applicable cooling-off period, cancelling and rebooking may sometimes be easier than changing an existing booking. The bookings team can advise on the best option for your situation.
