Are there any additional costs I should be aware of?

There are a few additional costs to plan for, but Scape keeps your main living costs simple. Your rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi, building support and access to the shared spaces available at your location.

Additional costs to consider

• Bedding and linen: bring your own, or order essentials in advance through Unpacked.
• Kitchen equipment: items like pans, plates, cutlery and cooking utensils are not included as standard.
• Contents insurance: you are responsible for protecting your personal belongings. Scape recommends arranging cover before you arrive.
• Laundry: washing and drying are paid separately through Circuit.
• Optional room cleaning: paid cleaning services may be available at your building.
• TV licence: you may need one if you watch or record live TV, or use BBC iPlayer.

There are no admin fees or move-in fees beyond your initial payment and damage deposit. Your damage deposit is separate from rent and may be refunded at the end of your stay, subject to the condition of your room.
