Are facilities free to use or do I need to book?

Most Scape facilities are included in your rent and are free to use, so you can make the most of your building without worrying about lots of extra charges.

Usually included in your rent

• Study areas: shared spaces for coursework, revision and group work.
• Communal lounges: places to relax, meet people and spend time outside your room.
• Gym access: available at selected buildings, once any required waiver has been completed.
• Bike storage: available for residents, usually managed through the building team.

Some facilities and services do have an extra cost. Laundry is pay-per-use through Circuit Laundry, and optional paid room cleaning may be available at your building.

Do I need to book?

Many everyday spaces, such as lounges and study areas, can usually be used without booking. Some buildings may have bookable spaces or amenities, so check the Scape app or ask reception for details.

If your building has a gym, you usually do not need to book a slot once your access is active. For anything event-related, private or outside normal day-to-day use, speak to reception first so the team can advise what is possible.
